Introduction: A social crisis has disrupted the perspectives that, until then, were conceived as normal in the areas where humanity has developed; its catalyst was very specific in health: the COVID-19 pandemic, which affects learning scenarios, such as clinical practice. It has untimely withdrawn its protagonists and generated uncertainty throughout the learning process in the health majors.
Objective: To analyze the testimonies showing the challenges and opportunities arisen in the clinical practice learning scenario during the pandemic, as well as the possible solutions that they predict during and after the pandemic.
Methods: A bibliographic search was conducted in relation to the study variable (clinical practice learning), with a descriptive design, from 53 original scientific articles chosen, of quantitative and qualitative nature, publications in both English and Spanish, of which 29 and 3 belonged to the Scopus and SciELO databases, respectively. A critical and exhaustive reading was carried out from June 1 to August 31, 2021. The analysis was performed inductively.
Conclusions: The COVID-19 pandemic has shown that there are other scenarios that should be taken into account due to the opportunities and advantages that they offer for hybrid, timely and relevant training in the teaching-learning process, as well as the fact that their incorporation into the curriculum should be addressed soon, without lessening the significance that the clinical practical component in the health majors is irreplaceable.
